What is Self Love
Self love is the unconditional acceptance of oneself, through all moments the good and bad. Learning to sit with yourself and knowing you are worthy of love, flaws and all. Self love is taking care of your own needs and prioritizing yourself and your wellbeing even when it is hard. Self love is about showing up for yourself, so you can be the best version of yourself. Self love is treating yourself with grace, compassion and tenderness. Self love is viewing yourself through a non-judgmental lens, and acting as your true authentic self.
Why is Self Love so important
“You can not pour, out of an empty cup”
Self love is so important because you are the only one who is in control of how you feel and knows what you need to be fulfilled. When we depend on others to provide us with happiness we give away our power and our emotions are at the mercy of others. However when we turn inward to fulfill us we no longer need others to make us happy and in turn we are better able to spread joy and happiness.

Start your day with a morning meditation
Journal out your feeling
Have a nutritious breakfast, (maybe a smoothie)
Spend some time out in nature
Go for a walk or run outside
Paint a picture
Enjoy a cup of tea
Recite some positive affirmations
Compliment yourself
Take a bubble bath or hot shower
Give yourself a mani and pedi
Make a list of things you are grateful for
Write a love letter to yourself
Listen to running water
Do something creative, write, draw, paint
Play some music and dance like nobody's watching
Call a friend or family member
